Not from Totnes?

If you'd like to start up and run your own version of the full Transition Streets project outside Totnes district, then read on...

We're currently creating a new project package, to be known as Streets-Wise, for community groups, organisations and Transition Initiatives to support them to set up their own Transition Streets project. It includes our Transition Streets' project resources, project team training and ongoing support. See our Transition Streets Project Report and other Research, surveys and reports to see how it worked in Totnes.

Official Transition Initiatives will still be able to access some of these materials for free online, such as the workbook and a project guide but without additional support.

The new package will be available from early 2012 for a fee to cover our costs and development. We strongly recommend that you secure suitable funding, such as that offered by Awards for All  to cover your costs. 

If you are not a Transition Initiative and would like a copy of the workbook without additional support (see the first section of the Totnes workbook to give you an idea of how it all works), the cost is £10 for an electronic copy (download pdf) or £20 for a 73 page print version including postage.
